I’m back!! Christmas was amazing…It seems to get better every year 
I have been busy putting away Christmas decorations and trying to get everything organized for the new year ahead. I love finding great new organizing products and this one really made me smile. A flour and sugar storage container (I know, it doesn’t take much to make me smile). It isn’t the storage that makes me happy, it is the fact that you can pour it right from the container. I also love the fact that you don’t have to take the flour out of the bag before storing it – I always seem to spill a bunch of it when trying to transfer it to a new container. Even better? Wishing all of you a wonderful holiday weekend…enjoy the time off with you family and friends. I will be celebrating with my family. I am in the skit at our Church on Christmas Eve again this year…I will be reprising my role as a cow. Riley will be playing a cow with me and Maddie is the special angel. I love Christmas!! I will be taking a few days off from the blog to spend time with my family.

Thinking in the Shower.
I do my best thinking in the shower. All of my good ideas come to me while I am in a nice steamy shower. Unfortunately, I tend to forget most of my ideas before I am done toweling off. Not any more. AquaNotes saves the day! A waterproof notepad that you can even write on under water. Love it
Kirkland’s
One of the teachers at our school received a really cute monogrammed mug for Christmas. It was super cute! When I found out it was from Kirkland’s I was surprised. I haven’t been in that store in a really long time. I went on line to find the mug…but was unsuccessful. I did find a whole bunch of stuff at great prices that I loved. I will have to pop into my Kirkland’s and do a little shopping.

I’m Done!!!
I have spent the last few days getting everything finished up for Christmas and my girls Birthdays…it feels great to be ready for the big days ahead. Pinterest has kept me unusually busy…I have been taking on some fun new projects. Here is a look at what I have been doing -
I made these great Reinbeer gifts. Some are Root Beer and some are regular beer.
Inside the bags is a snack mix called Santa’s Party Mix. You use Bugles to make little Santa hats to toss in with the snack mix. They are so easy to make and super cute. You can find the directions on this great little blog called Cookies & Cups.
The knitting continues. I whipped up quite a few beer sweaters. These are going to make great gifts (especially with a reinbeer tucked inside)!

Knock Off Scentsy!
I love the Walmart Better Homes and Gardens line of products – they have lamps, picture frames, rugs…and now have scented wax tarts for their plugin candle warmers! They look identical to the Scentsy candle warmers and wax cubes that I love so much. The only problem with Scentsy is that you have to contact a Scentsy representative to order it. I love the fact that I can head down to my local Walmart and pick some up. The warmers are under $20 and the scented wax cubes are only $8 for a set of four. They come in so many great scents.
Getting Crafty….
I decided to learn how to knit last week. I bought my supplies and found a great teacher on youTube. I followed the directions to make a hat. What I didn’t realize was that the hat that I thought I was making for myself was actually a teeny little hat for a preemie. That little mishap gave me a great idea…beer sweaters! I am now making little knit can coozies for some of my friends for Christmas. Would you like to give a beer sweater to someone on your list?
