Wishing all of you a wonderful holiday weekend…enjoy the time off with you family and friends. I will be celebrating with my family. I am in the skit at our Church on Christmas Eve again this year…I will be reprising my role as a cow. Riley will be playing a cow with me and Maddie is the special angel. I love Christmas!! I will be taking a few days off from the blog to spend time with my family.
Knock Off Scentsy!
I love the Walmart Better Homes and Gardens line of products – they have lamps, picture frames, rugs…and now have scented wax tarts for their plugin candle warmers! They look identical to the Scentsy candle warmers and wax cubes that I love so much. The only problem with Scentsy is that you have to contact a Scentsy representative to order it. I love the fact that I can head down to my local Walmart and pick some up. The warmers are under $20 and the scented wax cubes are only $8 for a set of four. They come in so many great scents.
Time to start thinking pumpkins…
Every year I have this desire to do something different with my pumpkin. Here in Georgia it usually is to hot to actually carve the pumkin – it rots 10 minutes after you cut into it. I thought this decorating kit was super cute ($8) and would make my jack-o-lantern last longer.
Good Food Fast.
It’s back to school, my husband is traveling, and I don’t want to eat fast food. Sometimes I don’t want to cook either. I had the opportunity to review Marie Callender’s Three Meat and Four Cheese Lasagna. I have seen the commercials on TV and it looked delicious. I loved the fact that it had pepperoni in it. Who doesn’t love pepperoni?
Here is what Marie Callender has to say about their lasagna, “The lasagna includes three Italian-style meats (sausage, ground beef and pepperoni), layered with four different cheeses (Ricotta, Mozzarella, Parmesan and Romano), in a hearty marinara sauce that cooks in the microwave and is ready to serve in just 19 minutes, faster than the competition.”
When I popped in in the microwave I was thrilled that it didn’t take a fancy combination of settings. Don’t you just hate it when you have to cook it for 18 minutes at 40% power, take it out and stir it, then continue cooking for 17 more minutes on high? Not this lasagna! You just pop it in the microwave for 19 minutes at full power. Super Easy.
This lasagna was yummy! It was really cheesy (we love cheese in our house), and the meat sauce was delicious. You can’t beat a hearty, delicious, and inexpensive (less than $6) meal that you can make in 19 minutes! This was perfect for our lifestyle – soccer practice, homework, etc.
Would I buy it again? You bet cha!

I Found a New Boyfriend (pillow)
I did, I want to kick my old boyfriend (pillow) to the curb and welcome this dreamy guy into my future. Isn’t he handsome? My old boyfriend (pillow) only cuddled my back. My new guy takes care of my back, neck, and legs. He even holds my remote for me. He comes at quite a price though…$150 for the bed lounge & $80 for the leg lounger. I think he might be worth it.
