It’s Christmas Card Time! Give Away Too..
I love putting together my Christmas cards (addressing and mailing them is a different story). I always use Shutterfly and I am never disappointed. They have so many great cards to choose from…the hardest part is deciding on the one that I like the best. I have been looking over my options for this year and already have a ton that I like.

I love working at my local food pantry. It is amazing how many people are hungry. According to Feeding America, approximately 5.7 million different people receive emergency food assistance from the organization in any given week.

My husband has been traveling a lot lately. I like to make my life easier when he is traveling by cutting corners when cooking dinners. Don’t get me wrong…I don’t want to feed my kids junk, I just want to feed them fast & stress free. Last week I discovered a great way to make restaurant style meals in no time. I made Wanchai Ferry Orange Chicken (which is one of my favorite meals to order at my local Chinese restaurant). I added water, chicken breast, and vegetable oil. It turned out amazing! I loved the Chilies – they added a great little kick!
The next night I made Romano’s Macaroni Grill Creamy Basil Parmesan Chicken & Pasta. All I need to add was chicken, butter, and milk to make an amazing pasta dish. My kids thought I was a professional chef. They raved about this dish. It was so good.

I was so excited when I found out that KT Tunstall was releasing a new album called Tiger Suit. I happen to be a huge fan of KT…in fact, my dog Winnie always sings along with her song “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree“. She does the Whoo-hoo’s with KT. It is hysterical. When One2One asked me to review her newest songs, I jumped at the chance!
In a nutshell? We love it here at the KatyShops house. Is super rocking in a very hip kind of way. KT has remained true to herself but also moved right along with the current music trends. My favorite song on the album is “Come On, Get In“, my daughter Riley loves “(Still A) Weirdo“. I just love her strong gravely voice – a true rocker in my book. If you loved her past hits, you will certainly love this the same. It is true KT.
