Fit Friday – Need it or Want it?
Do you ever see someone at the gym with a cool pair of shoes or a great little gadget? My knee jerk (that’s an exercise, right?) reaction is always “oooh, I need that!”. When in reality, I just want it. Luckily, I don’t need for anything to exercise…unfortunately, I want so many great things. Here is a little preview of some of my “wants”.
I have been wanting these shoes ever since I saw them for the first time. I have been known to stare at peoples shoes while completing my 90 seconds of prone cobra or plank. They are so cool looking…and I see them everywhere! They are specifically for training – which is great. I am having a hard time justifying the purchase because I happen to have a bazillion pairs of tennis shoes. I have been saving my Coke Rewards points to get them for free…the only problem is that I gave up drinking Diet Coke. So, if you have any points you are not going to use, pass them along to me (please?)
A great pair of running sunglasses. Yes, I have a cheap pair that I wear right now…but don’t you think I would run faster with an awesome pair of Under Armour specs? Of course, I can’t justify the $99 price tag. They will have to wait for me.
A great new gym bag. I seem to be hitting the gym right after work lately. I carry my things in a free bag that I received at one of the races that I ran. I would love to stow it in something super cute and monogrammed. Plus, this one holds my shoes…my free one doesn’t. This one isn’t to bad for only $33.95.
I love, love, love this long sleeved racing tee! How cute is that? Putting it on. my. wish. list.

My one big thing on my wish list was the Garmin gps watch – so now I got it I am set for a while!
