Let’s see how this goes…
Last year we planted all of our herbs & vegetables from seeds…they didn’t do as well as I had expected. This year we are trying out the Topsy Turvy Tomato Planter. We planted a big tomato plant in the bottom & cilantro around the sides (kind of like hanging salsa!) and are hoping that it goes from this:

It was pretty hard to get the tomato plant shoved through the bottom of the planter without breaking the plant. Have any of you tried this planter? It was the last one left at Home Depot so I thought it must be good…but I just saw hundreds of them at Walgreens. Hmmm.

Everyone that I have known that has tried this has gotten great results…hope it works for you! I hate it that we don’t get enough sun in the back of our yard to have one.

We have 2 of them with tomatoes…and 2 with cucumbers..and 2 of the strawberry ones…they are looking good so far!!! If they do grow well, the best thing will be no weeding!!
