Last week was crazy! I volunteered for my church’s VBS all week – which was a blast (but very tiring!). Saturday night I went to the Keith Urban /Taylor Swift concert. I was lucky enough to get to attend the Backstage Backyard Barbeque at the concert. We were treated to some great food, got to meet Keith (he is super hot) and was even treated to a few songs. It was just Keith and his guitar….man can he play! When you go to a concert venue where Taylor Swift is playing you see so many sundresses, boots, and cowboy hats. From 3 year old girls to 80 year old women. It is all about the outfit! If you really want to find out how to dress like Taylor visit this site. Should have…
I should have had this kit in my husband’s car. He was rear ended on Tuesday night. Thankfully he is fine…his little sports car…notsomuch. The gentleman driving the extra large SUV who hit him was not very cooperative. Luckily, the policeman was. The not very cooperative gentleman received a citation. Hmmph. Take that! I do wish this kit was in his car…we have one kit and 3 cars. I guess wrongly predicted which car was most likely to be in an accident. I will be placing my order for 2 more kits and praying that I never have to use any of them.

This week is a busy one! I’ve been thinking a lot about products that are time savers. You know, things that just make your life quicker and easier than normal.
Not only does buying a box of greeting cards save time…it will also save you money.
This little steamer can cook an entire meal in less than 30 minutes. Added bonus…you can use no fat or oil!
This little plant holder is self watering…that will save you some time. Put some herbs in it for cooking and it will save you even more time.
Need to save time in the morning? Why not try a dry shampoo? This could shave huge amounts of time from your morning routine!

Fit Friday – for the kids!
My mom turned Riley onto this foam wrap & ribbon. It is a roll of foam that comes in different fun colors. You simply tear off a piece and use it to tie your pony tail or use it to place in your shoes where your shoe is rubbing. Riley even likes to tie a few “bracelets” on her arm with it. Because it is soft and contains no clips, she can wear it in her soccer games. I’m sure that there are a million other uses for this cool roll of foam. I even found a few threads on the Internet where they are making crafts out of it (and even some fly fishing lures). If you have long hair I would definitely keep a roll in your gym bag…you never know when you want to tie it up! We found our roll at Target and I think Claire’s sells it too.

Not a freebie but a really good deal. Buy 2 blueberry plants for $10 and get one free. I have a blueberry bush and love it! I would love to have 3! We get so many berries off of one bush that we actually have to freeze some of them. You could have blueberries for the next year with three plants.

Tried it Tuesday – Loom
You are going to think this is weird. I have a diaper bag that I LOVE! Yes, a diaper bag. Kinda weird to have a diaper bag when your kids are taller than you…right? And no, they don’t wear diapers. I use it like a regular bag. My Loom bag is the best. First of all, I removed the changing pad (and gave it to Winnie to sleep on) and took off the shoulder strap. This made it look like a super cute, hip backpack. The main bag is a lime green backpack that is made out of super really fabric. All of the hardware is nickel…makes it look awesome! The Joey bag hooks on to the backpack. Mine is in silver…it looks super cool! The Joey bag is a small clutch purse that snaps on the front of the backpack. So…when I need to take tons of things (water bottles, magazines, sunscreen – think vacation here) I load up the backpack and simply attach the Joey (which is already filled with wallet, sunglasses, etc) to it. If I only need a regular purse I just grab the Joey. Brilliant!
