Who do you call when your daughter needs a pair of cowboy boots for her Taylor Swift costume for Halloween? I called my mom in Dallas, Texas. Might as well head straight to the West! The only catch? I didn’t want to pay $600 for a pair of boots for a costume. Well, those Texans take their Western wear very seriously. Ironed Wranglers, expensive Stetsons, and really high dollar boots. My mom hopped on the internet KatyShops style and rounded up some Western Rain boots. Yeah, they look like cowboy boots but are just like Wellies. The best part? They are on clearance for $14.97!

So you probably already know where you will be going for Thanksgiving and Christmas…but do you know how you will get there? It seems like the price of everything is going up and you have to be really creative when trying to save some money. I like to use Best Coupons Online to find great deals for hotels, airfare, and car rentals. The cool thing about this site is that it is linked to other popular money saving sites. Do you normally use Expedia? Not a problem! Are you more comfortable with Orbitz? That’s okay too! What is great is that they will look at all of the sites and find you the best deal ever. I used the site and my best deal was from Travelocity. I wouldn’t have probably even searched on Travelocity. I’m glad they found it for me. I love one stop shopping! Now they don’t just have coupons for travel sites only. They have everything else too. So, you can find the best deal on that new luggage you need for your trip – you really should stop carrying the black rolling luggage with the duct tape around it! Find yourself something with bright colors or a fun print – you will never miss your luggage on the baggage carousel again!

I’ve decided that for everybody’s own good I should not be shopping or recommending any purchases today. You know that little back problem I have been dealing with this week? Dr. Bob put me on a Vicodin and Muscle Relaxer cocktail. Needless to say, my head is in a different place ~ a really, really happy place.

How about that Martha? You know, the Martha Stewart. We can find her on TV, Macy’s, Michaels, K-Mart, and now Walmart. Yes, thats right….Martha now calls Walmart home too. She has a line of craft products that Walmart carries. Mostly scrapbooking and wedding stuff, but I’m sure we will see a wider variety in the future.
