No time…

Quit wining…
With the cooler temperatures comes my craving for red wine. What I don’t like is the red mouth it can leave behind. There is nothing worse than looking like a 5 year old who just downed some grape kool-aid. As always, there is a product to solve this universal problem! Wine Wipes! Cute little wipes in a mirrored compact. They have an orange blossom flavor that will not interfere with wine tasting. Drink up!
Please don’t…
In my mailbox yesterday I received the tackiest catalog ever! And guess what? It was the holiday edition. Here are some things that I would NOT like you to buy me for Christmas…
Palm Beach Santa. Push the button and he bends over and passes gas. Did I mention the tattoo on his butt?
Commode Charlie. Here is the actual description “He sits on the can, rocks and grunts, then lets loose with a few good ones until he’s done-then the “Hallelujahs” and applause start”. How chic.
Fartin’ Farley. You just pull his finger and he goes to town. The site promises “he will turn any get together into a delightful sharing of embarassing moments”. Just what my family needs.
How did I get on their mailing list??
You might want to rock the…

Did I jump the gun a little when I put out all of my Halloween decorations (on the inside of my house) last week? Maybe a little. I am so happy that I was ready to welcome Fall yesterday. So get cracking….
I love these design a monster cups from Swoozies.
Funkins rock!
These are very spooky…
How cool are these?
I want one of these!! How cool would Peppy the Pirate be peering out of my front window?
Consider yourselves warned
Make time to make money.
I was at church yesterday and one of my friends (who shall remain nameless) came up to me and told me that she had made a few purchases this past week based on some of the things that I wrote about. This is not an uncommon conversation…and honestly, I’m glad that you guys like some of the things that I feature. With that said, lets talk today about how to earn some money using the internet. That way, you will have more to spend on all of the great things that I feature!
There are a ton of survey sites online. I would love to hear which ones you like. One of my favorites is ZoomPanel. They offer really quick surveys that allow you to rack up points for lots of great things. Your inbox is not bombarded with tons of offers either. Right now you can get a free Bluetooth Headset just for signing up. Just click on the picture below if you are interested.
Two more great survey sites are Vindale Research and Pinecone Research. You can find out about Vindale by clicking the picture below. Pinecone Research will send you checks for each short survey you complete. I usually do one or two surveys a month for them – which is funny because then I get a couple of $3 checks in the mail from them a month. Hey…every little bit helps
At this time Pinecone Research is not accepting new applicants. I will let you know when they open it back up. If you ever receive an email from them asking you to join their panel….I highly suggest you do. They are a very good survey site.
I have written about BzzAgent before. They send you products, you try them out and share them with your friends. For each campaign you recieve product samples, information, and usually some coupons. I have loved the opportunity to try out some really cool products. Hamburgers from Chili’s, a Logitech Universal Remote, Pledge wipes, and a bunch of others. It is so fun when the box of goodies arrives at your door. You are responsible for writing short Bzz Reports each time you talk up the products to different people. In exchange for your reports you receive points deposited into you MyPoints account. It is a great program!
Of course you know how much I love Ebates! It is a great site where you get paid to back to shop through their site. For example if you wanted to buy a book from Barnes & Noble, you would first log onto Ebates and then click through to Barnes & Noble. A small percentage of your purchase will be deposited in your Ebates account. Four times a year they will send you a check. They also have great coupons to all kinds of online retailers. You can find great deals by using Ebates. They will give you $5 for signing up and making one purchase through them.
So take a little time each day – get off of Facebook, stop playing solitare, and take a minute from forwarding that really funny joke to make some money!!! Every little bit adds up. Good Luck!
You need this!
I purchased the 2008 book and love it! Of course there are some coupons that you will never use and some that are not for the area you live in. You will use the store coupons (you will recoup the cost of the book with these) and many other great coupons. You can actually preview the book to see if it is something you might use. I know we all want to save a buck…this is one of the ways that I save some cash.
Number one.
Do you know what the number one selling toy at FAO Schwartz for the past year? Myachi. What? Myachi is a game (or sport) where a rectangular palm sized bean bag is tossed around with hand movements similar to martial arts. The catch? You can’t use your palms. Some people get really fancy and can do all kinds of tricks with the Myachi. Steve Ochs is the inventor of Myachi. He love the idea of Hacky Sack but wasn’t coordinated enough to excell at it. He was always good at martial arts and from there Myachi was born! It is really cool to watch and each Myachi Sack costs around $7. Affordable, good excersise, and great for building coordination! I think I wil be picking a few of these up to stuff into some stockings this Christmas.
Vinyl. It’s back!
No, not the record kind of vinyl. I’m talking about vinyl for your walls, glass containers, and everything else. I was first introduced to vinyl decals through Uppercase Living – but I have found my new favorite source for vinyl. Sutdio jk vinyl is the hippest chick around when it comes to decals. Not only are her designs amazing, she give you great ideas for using them. How cute would this be for your favorite teacher? Get this…it’s only $5!
My favorite? Look closely at the picture below…do you see the cute topiary? Isn’t that clever? What a great idea! It will never get dusty, looks great, and is totally unexpected.
You customize the decals too. I created a set of these kitchen labels and they are awesome! You can choose exactly what you want your 6 labels to say. One of mine is “Dog Treats” and it is really cute! Once again, very affordable. The set of 6 cutom labels will only set you back $15. That is only $2.50 per label. You can’t beat it! Go look for yourself. Think about the upcoming Christmas season. You know how people love a custom gift!
Somebody better stop me now! I think I’m addicted
