6 in 1.

This little gem can open 6 different things!  I found it at Crate&Barrel.  The best part?  It will only set you back $7.95.  Thats like $1.33 for each function.  It opens bags of chips, beers, jars, can tabs, and more.  If I owned this I could probably throw out half of the junk in my kitchen utensil drawer.

I don’t care who you are for…

I really don’t care what your political stance is, I just want to make sure you are saying it with style!  Are you a  Republican?  Here is the perfect preppy shirt for you…

I love this hat & coffee mug too…

Are you more likely to Barack the vote?  You can get the same stuff Obama style!

I think the brown & blue combo is super cool too.  How about you?  Are you sending the right message with your political attire?  You know you can be stylish and politically involved at the same time.

Not your ordinary wedgie.

We all know what a normal wedgie is (I’m sure everyone has given a wedgie to someone), I’m talking about the heel wedgie today.  You know, when your pants get stuck between your heel and your shoe when you wear long pants and open-back heels?  Has it happened to you?  It happens to me every time I wear my favorite jeans and my sexy little black heels.  There is nothing sexy about standing around with my pants sucked into my heels. Take a look at this prime example of a heel wedgie in action…

Never fear, KatyShops is here!  Thats right, I found yet another solution to the dreaded heal wedgie!  Say hello to Kix by Katie and goodbye to the dreaded wedgie.  These nifty little fabric strips will completely do away with your problem.  You simply stick the lightweight fabric strip to the inside back hemline of your pants.  It is a little rigid (almost like those plastic things in men’s dress shirt collars) and weighted just enough to keep your pant legs down where they belong.  Just look at Kix in action…

They are disposable (I used one of mine 3 times) and you have to take them off before you wash your pants.  They come in packages of 3 for $12.95.  They are very discreet and you forget they are down there when you are wearing them.  I don’t know about you, but I think this is another genius product out there!  It goes in the “why didn’t I think of that category”.  Oh, and by the way….I like the name too :)   Check them out…they are having a contest on their site right now – you can win an iPhone!  Just say no to heel wedgies!

What was that?

Did you catch any of the beach volley ball matches during the Olympics?  Did you notice that  Kerri Walsh had tape all over her shoulder?  Mike and I had a bunch of different theories regarding why she had was all taped up.   We thought maybe she was covering up a naughty tattoo.  Nope.  The right answer? Kinesio Tex Tape . This special tape applies compression to the skin, offering relief from pain, correcting muscle and joint function, and improving circulation.  Who knew? It even comes in pink!  So if you are nursing an injury…do it  Kerri Walsh style, put tape all over your body.

The right tool.

Mike has been out of town all week. The girls and I have been doing pretty good. I’m thankful that is early enough in the school year that no really hard math homework has come home. When he is gone…its all me. I’m awful at it! The other “Mike Job” that I have a hard time with is the yard work. We have had a bazillion mushrooms pop up in the front yard while he is gone. I toyed with getting out his string trimmer and taking out all of my frustrations on the fungi. The problem is, he has this industrial string trimmer that landscapers strap to their back. Uh…I’m only 5″2″…its bigger than me. Maybe I need my own string trimmer that is just my size. What about a Black & Decker trimmer? They make great kitchen appliances, awesome cordless screwdrivers, and a million other cool toys. How about the strimmer! It trims, edges, and is cordless. It is small enough that I wouldn’t have to strap in on but powerful enough to trim everything in my way. Including those nasty mushrooms. I love the fact that it uses battery packs that you can charge. I hate hauling the gas can to the gas station – it smells up the car! Until I get my very own trimmer I will have to get rid of the mushrooms the old fashioned way….my 7 iron. Thats right, I just finished playing 18 holes of mushroom in my front lawn :)

Guess again..

Looks like a retro gun…its really a blow dryer!

You use the gun’s hammer to adjust the temperature of the dryer, then pull the trigger to finish the job.  don’t know where you would buy one of these….maybe Texas?

Scrubbing Bubbles Action Scrubber…I love it!

As most of you know, I am a Bzz agent.  I review many different products to test out and tell people about them.  Recently I  received a Scrubbing Bubbles Action Scrubber to try. I am always willing to try out a new cleaning product!

The Action Scrubber is  a nifty little invention to help you clean your tub and shower.! The starter pack comes with a special handle that adheres to the disposable scrubbing pads . The handle is easy to grip.  The scrubbing pads come pre-loaded with just the right amount of  cleaning formula that is activated when you get it  wet.  You just wet it down and start scrubbing!  You don’t even have to scrub very hard…it works great!   Each pad is good for one use on an average sized tub/shower.  The other nice thing about the Action Scrubber is how easy it is to store it. The cleaning pads are stored in a closeable plastic container and the handle fits right on top in the lid. No muss, no fuss!
The starter pack retails for a suggested price of $5.29. The refill pack which contains 6 scrubbing pads retails for a suggested price of $3.19. I have seen this product at Walmart recently.
