I watched this YouTube video today and actually giggled out loud. Check it out.
Schools out for summer……….
Wow, another year finished. I am so thrilled to have the girls home now that school is out- I am also completely sad that another year has passed so quickly. I can’t believe that I am now a Mom to a 4th & 7th grader. Why does it have to pass so fast? In order to not seem completely depressed yesterday I decided to put together an ice cream sundae bar to celebrate the last day of school. The kids loved it! We had lots of yummy toppings, great friends, and perfect weather. If only I had planned this out a few weeks ago I could have really done it up big. Hmmm, maybe next year. Here are some things that would have liked to have for my ice cream party:
- Disposable paper placemats – Ultra cute…and they make for easy clean up.
- Biodegradable Spoons – I love the fun shape of these spoons! They strike me as the perfect utensil for ice cream sundaes. Good for the environment too!
- Clear Plastic Banana Boat – I love this! Now your ice cream sundae’s can look as good as DQ’s. How much fun would it be to build your own banana split?
Overall, our sundae party was a huge success. With the help of my neighbor we filled up enough water balloons to outfit a small army. You can never go wrong with water balloons!
