All About Alli

Have you heard about the new weight loss drug by GlaxoSmithKline called Alli? It has been receiving a lot of hype recently due to its release to the public on June 15th. It’s the first over-the-counter weight loss drug to win FDA approval, and apparently it works. How well does it work? If you follow the directions and you should be able to get your dress size down from a 12 to a 10 in no time. Make sure you read the fine print! If not, you may be changing your dress for other reasons (embarrassing ones). The potential downside to this new miracle pill can be traumatic. If you don’t follow the directions properly you could suffer from annoying intestinal problems, such as oily leakages, flatulence and lots of urgent trips to the potty. Glaxo recommends that you start the program on a weekend, and stay close to home. Yikes! To avoid these unfortunate consequences of Allie you must follow the rules…consume no more than 15 grams of fat per meal and maintain an exercise program. If you do you should lose 50% more weight over a six month period with Allie. Glaxo maintains that the pills will work, but consumers must be educated on Allie. Demand is expected to be very high when they hit the stores in June. You can purchase a starter kit for around $50. This contains 60-capsules (you need to take 3 pills each day), a food journal, a healthy eating guide and a reference manual. You should only take Allie for a six month period. Books on using Allie as a diet plan have already hit the stores! You will be able to purchase Allie at Target, Wal-Mart, CVS, and many other stores. Make sure to check out the web site if you are interested in this new diet phenom. If you do choose to partake in Allie I have a few products that you may want to invest in:

  • Urban Aid: Oops Kit – Keep this handy kit with you for when you have the occasional “oily leakage”. It contains an extra pair of underwear! You gotta be prepared.

  • Just a Drop: Odor Neutralizer- Just put one drop of this into the toilet bowl before you go….98% of the odors will be eliminated. Remember, while using Allie you will experience frequent bathroom visits. Why should everyone else suffer?

  • Sudoku Toilet Paper – Face it…you are going to be running for the bathroom – no time to grab something to entertain yourself. Keep your mind busy during all of those breaks by hanging the Sudoku toilet paper instead of your boring old Charmin.

Do your research & be prepared…maybe Allie is right for you.
