Did anyone catch the Oprah show last week with Sarah Jessica Parker? She was on Oprah debuting her new fashion line called Bitten. It will be out June 7th at Steve & Barry’s. What is so cool about her collection is that not one piece is over $20! They are all supposed to be really good quality too. The philosophy is that “fashion should not be a luxury”. I checked the S&B’s website…looks like the closest store to Atlanta is in Athens. Darn. But I did find a store in Grapevine Mills (Texas) where my parents live – I’ll check it out this summer for us! Steve & Barry’s also sells the ultra low priced Starbury Athletic shoes (each pair is only $14.98). Again, this is supposed to be a high quality shoe with a low price so that everyone can afford to have them. Stephon Marbury from the NBA is the brain behind this line of shoes and clothes.
I can’t wait to check this stuff out for myself. It sounds like Steve & Barry’s along with certain celebrities may change the way people look at fashion. Watch out Abercrombie.
