Prank Pack
I love these fake boxes that you use to put your real present in. How much fun would it be to see the recipients face when they open up their present and think it is one of these weirdo products? Of course, you put something wonderful in the box
It’s a Miracle
We rescued our second dachshund (Jules) over 6 months ago. It was (and sometimes still is) a struggle to try to rehabilitate a dog that has been abused. One of our biggest struggles was potty training. She is awesome now, but there were definitely some mishaps along the way.
With my daughters graduation quickly approaching, I want my house to look and smell its best. My Mom told me about Nature’s Miracle and I am hooked. We bought the big jug and put the whole thing in our steam cleaner – full steam, not diluted. Every little spot came out of my carpets and all of the smell is gone!
Nature’s Miracle was a miracle. It took out spots and smell that I had already treated with no success. I’m hooked!

Prom Under $100
Hey KatyShops readers! It’s Maddie! Last weekend was my first (and last) prom! I was out of town for my junior prom, but I decided to go this year. The only thing is, I didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on one night, especially when I have college coming up and graduation weekend, not to mention the presents I have to buy for birthdays, graduations, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day. So, I found a way to do prom under $100. Now, this doesn’t count the whole prom experience; I can’t advise anyone on how to do the whole experience–outfit, tickets, dinner, limo–for under $100.
Dress-Little Mistress-ASOS; Shoes-Comfort Plus by Predictions-Payless; Earrings-Charlotte Russe (out of stock)
The grand total is (drum roll, please): $87.85!
Here are my prom under $100 tips:
- Do your own hair! I just straightened mine and pinned my bangs back, but if you want something fancier, curl it or style an up-do. Styling your own hair isn’t hard, especially when you have Pinterest to browse.
- Stand out! Chances are, you’ll get tons of compliments if you choose a unique dress. And you can probably find a cheaper dress if you go with something less traditional.
- Look for sales! I got my dress on-sale and I’m not ashamed. With the escalating costs of prom, buying an on-sale dress you’ll most likely wear once really saves money.
- Buy your dress, shoes, and/or jewelry from smaller retailers! I didn’t go to a large department store for my dress. Instead, I chose to buy it from an online shop based in Europe. I knew I’d get a low cost, something unique, as well as free shipping (I ordered my dress from ASOS, so I’m not saying every retailer will have free shipping. Also, on a side note, there were some problems with my dress not getting to my house on time. It only arrived three days late and three days before prom, but the customer service at ASOS was amazing! They even offered me 10% off my next purchase to compensate for the shipping problems).
I hope you have/had fun at your prom or special occasion!

Found at Target
I saw this awesome cell phone holder at Target the other day for only $10! Awesome, right? The Chevron print caught my eye, and the amazing pockets sealed the deal.
Grad Gift
I love my pink tool kit. I actually have one upstairs and one downstairs. Not only is it super cute, my husband will never steal my tools because they are PINK! This would make a great gift for a graduate getting ready to head out on their own. This is the cutest, most functional $20 gift out there.
It’s Free Stuff!
Free scented trash bags, free tan at Sunless Tans, free Ovaltine Stick, free Always and Tampax Radiant Sample Kit, free subscription to Maxim Magazine, 2 free Braves tickets with Insurance quote.
Need This!
I totally need this OpenIt! sealed plastic package opener. It features steel clippers, a miniature screwdriver, and a retractable box cutter in the handle so that you can open any package it record time. I hate opening packaging from companies and this would make it so easy.
Freebies
Free box of Wheat Thins, free subscription to Cosmopolitan, free travel pillow from Sleep Number.

Best Mother’s Day Card
This Mother’s Day card rocks! Not only does it declare your Mom as “The Best Mother Ever”, it will also let the whole world know. The card includes a tattoo that she can wear for a few days. I love it! You can pick it up at Urban Outfitters for $3.50
